Carnivorous Soil Mix
Carnivorous plants grow naturally in nutrient-deficient soils. Therefore, the soil where you grow your plants must mimic similar conditions. We offer a blend of pure, nutrient-free, PH-balanced peat moss mixed with perlite. This mix is perfect for most carnivorous plants including Venus Fly Traps, Sarracenia and Sundews.
The Blend
- 50% sphagnum peat moss with a 3.6 – 4.4 pH value.
- 50% agricultural grade – large particle-sized perlite.
Approximate volume per bag of a 3 Litre Jug
Mix thoroughly before use, as settling may occur. Always dampen the media before use, as peat is initially naturally water-retardant.
