Novion Foliar Feed

Normal plants require a range of nutrients. Most of these are obtained from the soil. However since carnivorous plants can only grow in nutrient-deficient soil, they need to get their nutrients from their leaves and traps.

We all know about Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium – but did you know plants also require a host of biological compounds and metabolites? Novion is a proudly South African, 100% organic product specifically formulated to provide these compounds which assist plants to increase photosynthesis rates and reduce abiotic stress. (Abiotic stress is the strain plants experience due to extreme temperatures, too much or too little water, wind and lack of nutrients.)

The unique Bio-Active compound is formulated with microbial residues, natural proteins, amino acids and a natural fungicide. This assists in stimulating natural plant vitality, growth and nutrient absorption. This in turn promotes improved colour, increased leaf size, improved flowering and increased disease resistance.

I have been using Novion for nearly 2 years and can personally vouch for the effectiveness of the product. I have seen growth in my plants I never thought possible. The pictures in the gallery are of Nepenthes leaf growth approximately 8 weeks after the weekly application of Novion.

Application Guide:

Dilute 20ml of Novion into 1 litre of PURE Water. Add to a spray bottle and liberally spray the leaves of your plants once a week. For pitcher plants, spraying NOVION directly into the pitchers will improve absorption.

It is important to note that carnivorous plants do not tolerate fertilizer in the soil. This spray-on feed is NOT to be added to the soil.
