🌿 Shipping Policy
At Curry’s Post Carnivores, every order is packed with love and care to make sure your new plant babies arrive safe and healthy. Below you’ll find all the details you need to know about shipping, packaging, and collection options.
🚚 Shipping Rates
Flat Rate: R160 (Economy Option) – this includes wrapping, packaging, and courier.
Free Shipping: Orders over R1500 qualify automatically at checkout.
Delivery Time: Usually 2–3 working days, depending on your area.
I dispatch orders Monday to Thursday. Occasionally, weather, public holidays or other circumstances may mean I hold an order back for a day or two. If that happens, it’s simply because I’d rather keep your plants safely with me a little longer than risk sending them at the wrong time.
📦 Packaging with Care
Your plants are precious, so each one is carefully wrapped in protective plastic and cushioned with cardboard to keep it snug and secure on its journey.
Each box is clearly marked with LIVE PLANTS and FRAGILE stickers.
⚠️ Please take care when unwrapping: use a sharp blade or scissors to cut through the tape first to avoid damaging your new plants.
🚛 Our Courier Partner
I ship exclusively with The Courier Guy. When you’re sending live plants across the country, reliability matters, and they’ve consistently proven to be a courier I can trust to get your new plant babies safely to your door. 🌿📦
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive email notifications with your delivery updates. You can also follow your plants on their journey here:
👉 Track with The Courier Guy
If your plants arrive damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and send me a few photos of both the parcel and the affected plants. I’ll do everything I can to help and make things right.
Prefer to use your own courier? No problem. Please just arrange this with me before checking out so we can confirm the correct collection address and collection date. Once your courier has collected the parcel, however, I unfortunately can’t accept responsibility for any delays, loss or damage.
⚠️ High-Risk Delivery Areas
Some areas in South Africa are flagged by The Courier Guy as High Risk (unsafe for couriers to travel). In these cases:
A surcharge may apply (over and above standard shipping).
You’ll be notified if your area falls into this category.
A separate invoice will be sent for the additional charge before dispatch.
If you’d prefer, we can arrange an alternative courier together.
✨ Every order supports the nursery and helps these hungry little savages find loving homes. Thank you for trusting me with your plant journey!
