Nepenthes Soil Mix

Nepenthes Soil MixCarnivorous plants grow naturally in nutrient-deficient soils. Therefore, the soil you grow your plants in, must mimic similar conditions. We offer a blend of pure, nutrient-free, PH-balanced peat moss mixed with perlite and Sphagnum Moss. This mix is perfect for Nepenthes as it is light, airy, and retains moisture without letting the roots get waterlogged.
This blend is also excellent for Heliamphora.
The Blend
1 part carnivorous soil mix (Peat moss and Perlite)
1 part Sphagnum Moss
1 Perlite
Approximate volume per bag of a 2 Litre Jug

Mix thoroughly before use, as settling may occur. Always dampen the media before use, as peat is initially naturally water-retardant.
